Why Submit to 500 Search Engines?

Search engines rank web sites based on their link popularity, a.k.a. how-many-web-sites-link-to-yours. This is a very important factor, but certainly not the only factor which determines how well a web site ranks in the organic search results of search engines.

Does my Web Site Need to be Resubmitted Regularly?
Resubmitting web sites dates back to the time when Webcrawler was the biggest search engine and there was no Pentium yet around!
It does not guarantee ranking, but it makes sense to resubmit at some engines every three months, because they simply remove your web site after this period. But this only rarely happens nowadays.
What we can conclude is the following:
Submission is necessary but does not guarantee inclusion in search engines. We submit your site to search engines, but not all of your web pages and cannot guarantee your site will be included and predict when or if it will appear.
Other factors such as how your web site is built and if the navigation is readable by search engines plays a major role too. When we submit your web site and the code is malformed, the navigation is not readable because it is a fancy Flash or Javascript navigation, it will be hard -if not impossible- to get all of your web pages indexed and get your site to rank well. Especially if this -unreadable- navigation is the only way to navigate the site. First resolve the problem of bad coding and implement a navigation which is accessible to search engines (work around's are always possible, without loosing the Flash object).

Does Visual Orange Guarantee a Top 10 Position in Google?
When doing SEO, Visual Orange will optimize your web site and web pages in order to obtain the best possible ranking for keywords we have agreed upon.
No one can guarantee a #1 position in Google's search results (except Google).
Be aware of SEO companies that claim to guarantee rankings, or that claim to have a "special relationship" with Google and can "priority submit" your site to Google. There is no priority submission for Google and there are NO guaranteed positions.

Are Meta Tags Important for my Site?
Many factors determine ranking of your web site. Keywords and description meta tags are certainly one of them, even though we can say that for Google this is certainly not the most important factor. All bits do help, so we recommend that you at least optimize your home page for meta tags.
Other search engines place more importance on meta tags than Google and because in some parts of the world, other search engines still have some piece of the pie, we recommend to do as much as you can to get your site optimized. Especially things like this which require little time and effort.
